We are a team of passionate Australian gamers, journalists, and esports analysts committed to delivering honest, in-depth gaming content to the community we love.
IronQuests was founded in 2019 by a group of Sydney-based gamers who were frustrated by the lack of Australian-focused gaming coverage. Too many reviews were written from a Northern Hemisphere perspective, with no consideration for local server performance, regional pricing, or the unique preferences of the Oceanic gaming community.
What began as a passion project with a small blog has grown into one of Australia's most-read gaming publications, with over 48,000 monthly readers and a team of twelve dedicated contributors spread across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.
Our editorial independence is non-negotiable. We do not accept payment for review scores, and every game we review is played to completion before a verdict is issued.
Our review scores are never influenced by advertisers, developers, or publishers. Every verdict is the honest opinion of our writers.
We review games from an Oceanic standpoint — server performance, local community health, and regional content all factor into our assessments.
We exist to serve the Australian gaming community. Reader feedback shapes our coverage, and we actively support local esports events and grassroots tournaments.
We play every game thoroughly before reviewing it. Our minimum playtime for any review is 15 hours, and major titles receive 40+ hours of coverage.
